Dr. Engr. Emmanuel Ekott
Dr. Emmanuel John Ekott is an engineer, educationist, philantropist, manager, leader, advocate of peace and pastor. He is an indigene of Eket, Nigeria. Dr. Ekott is a successful researcher, entrepreneur, administrator of repute, conflict manager and a boardroom expert. He is the Founder of Heritage Polytechnic, Eket, Akwa Ibom State. He is also the Proprietor of the proposed Emmanuel Ekott University, Eket that is under construction. Dr. Ekott is the Proprietor of Heritage Radio, 104.9 FM. He is CEO of Clear Broadcasting Limited, and CEO of Heritage Consultants, Ireland. Dr. Ekott is an international consultant in Colloid Engineering and Heavy Crude Oil Emulsions. He is an expert in crude oil asphaltenes problems. With several academic publications in international conferences and journals, Dr. Ekott research works have contributed widely to knowledege. His mathematical equations for correlation of asphaltene solvation and stability of heavy crude oil emulsions are referenced internationally. His current research areas include Corrosions and Catalytic Reactions in Modular Refinaries. Dr. Ekott is highly gifted in Organisational Restructure and Change; Performance Analysis and Process redesign; Project Planing and Project Management; Resource and Time Optimization; Human Resources Leadership and Public Relation. Dr. Ekott has received several awards based on his contribution to the society. Dr. Ekott has trained over 15,000 students and currently employs over 250 staff with several others employed indirectly through his multiplier effect ventures. He has awarded scholarships to over 500 youths, trained over 100 vocationally and assisted over 100 women to start up trade. He has graded community roads, provide water and installed PHCN transformers to communities. Dr. Ekott holds Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Ph.D in Theology, M.Eng. degree in Chemical Engineering, M.Sc. degree in Environmental Management among others. He is married to Helen, with children.
